RICHARDSON HIGHWAY
ALASKA'S FIRST ROAD
Because the Richardson Highway was the first modern road built in Alaska, it ties together many different highways. The Edgerton Highway, Glenn Highway, Tok Cutoff, Denali Highway, Parks Highway and Alaska Highway all directly connect to the Richardson Highway.
VISIT OLD TIME HISTORY
Wagons and trucks used along the old Richardson Highway can still be seen on display all over Alaska . You can see vehi- cles in Valdez, Fairbanks, Wasilla , and even out in the woods at Rika's Roadhouse, in Delta Junction.
