IN COOPER LANDING
Cooper Landing is the roadside fishing capital of Alaska. Here the Kenai Lake meets the Kenai River. The fishing season in Cooper Landing runs from late-May to late- October. That's one of the longest fishing windows in Alaska. The red salmon and rainbow trout fishing is world famous. The Kenai is one of the best and most easy to access fishing rivers in America. Start your day on the water and let your troubles fade away.
THIS TOWN LIVES
ON THE KENAI RIVER
Fishing will never go out of style in Cooper Landing. For about ten miles of the Sterling Highway, anglers, fishing guides, tourists and lucky Alaskan locals chase exceptional salmon and rainbow trout. Motors are not allowed on the upper Kenai River so silent drift boats ply the unspoiled waters. Local guides offer raft float trips on this scenic, tur- quoise river as well.
