The First Section In Bearfoot Alaska Anchorage & Kenai Peninsula

Bearfoot Alaska starts in Anchorage and shows you how to make good use of your time in Anchorage including trail, event, dining and cultural information as well as how to get around the city.

The second half of this section takes you down along the Seward Highway to the coastal city of Seward and the massive Harding Icefield in Kenai Fjords National Park. The guide then heads through Cooper Landing on the beautiful blue-green Kenai River to the three Kenai River towns: Sterling; Soldotna and Kenai. The road then heads south to Homer with big beaches and fishing rivers along the whole route.
