SOUTH ON THE RICHARDSON The Richardson Highway follows an early trail to

HISTORIC ROAD The Richardson Highway is a 368 mile long paved north- south route that links Fair- ban ks in the Interior to Valdez on the ocean . It travels through two of the most scenic moun- tain passes on the Alaska high- way system. The Richardson Highway provides access to many recreational rivers, huge lakes, historic sites, glaciers, and Wrangell-St. Elias Park, as wellas Prince William Sound.
AHTNA COUNTRY The Ahtna Region starts at Summit Lake. Ahtna Athabas- can territory extends down through the Copper Valley and the extensive drainage system of the Copper River.
