Take advantage of your stay in Denali Park to learn about the wilderness ecosystem and to have one-of-a-kind adventures.
Rafting
Near Denali Park, there's exciting rafting on the Nenana River. Raft trips in the Denali area use experi- enced guides and provide all equipment necessary.
Trail Rides
Wagon , ATV and vehi- cle rides are offered in wild country near Denali National Park. Trail rides are a great way for fami- lies to see the wilderness together.
Flightseeing Denali & The Alaska Range Fixed wing planes circle Denali at high altitudes. Ski planes can land on glaciers and let passen- gers take pictures as part of the flight. Flightseeing of Denali is offered from the Denali Park Area , Talkeetna, Fairbanks and even Anchorage. Local guiding services can fly visitors to a remote loca- tion to camp, fish or hike. In the Nenana Canyon area, helicopter flights are offered.
Camping
Tent sites and RV sites with hookups are offered in campgrounds outside the park. Some also allow campfires, weather per- mitting.
Dining Out
There are many restau- rants in the Denali Park area. Fine dining, brew- eries, casual dining and international food are available. Sack lunches for the bus ride can be found at local eateries.
Shopping
A wide range of souvenirs are available at gift and specialty shops. Outdoor gear for rent or sale can keep you warm and dry.
Ziplines
The Denali area has zipline rides. On a zipline, tour- ists wear special rappelling gear and zoom across for- est landscapes.
Biking
There are paved and grav- el roads and trail riding.
Fishing
Fishing trips with guides allow visitors to fly fish for the elusive arctic grayling.
