Railroad That Never Was
In Keystone Canyon, there's an entrance to the old highway tunnel, which has been replaced by bridges. Asecond, partially completed tunnel was the scene of an early 1900's shoot-out. The shoot-out occurred when proponents of a Cordova-to-Chitina railroad con- fronted and stopped a competing effort from Valdez.
