CITY LIFE, CITY MOOSE
Moose have adapted well to city life. Moving easily from one garden to another, camping out on suburban lawns and raising families in backyards. Pictures are so prevalant of moose enjoying city life that the Anchorage Daily News published a yearly moose calendar. If you want to see a moose in Anchorage you should head over to Kincaid Park or the coastal trail near Point Woronzof. Just keep your distance. They are big, wild animals and protective of their young.
